The Soba: Private Label story

Founded to slaughter the boring. We make serious businesses seriously unforgettable.

Across our careers we’ve been bored to death by boring and bland business world, because of one thing:

Everyone looks and sounds the same.

This has made thousands of businesses harder to buy from, and much, much easier to pass up.

Soba exists to help make companies unforgettable, get them noticed by their dream clients, and dominate their market.

We’re big believers that origin stories don’t have to be boring or predictable.

We cut our industry teeth making some huge, bland, companies stand out in their categories.

They were lovely and talented people, but struggled to make a name for themselves and earn the kudos they deserved.

On a trip to the local ramen shop, we knew we could do more. We came up with a simple concept: distil what makes companies unique, interesting, and different, and ship it out all across the land.

It began an era of companies standing out from the crowd.

We called it Soba: Private Label.

Soba is a core ingredient in Japanese cooking that’s well known for its adaptability. Because it’s handmade (and still is, to this day) it’s built on a foundation of care and expertise.

Private Label is drawn from a rich history going back as far as the 1800s, when retailers purchased premium products from suppliers to sell under their own brand.

So, you know that’ll we treat you as one of our own, and because we’re boutique by design, you know we’re dedicated to taking care of you.

It was the perfect combination.

Adaptability, care, and expertise meet exclusivity and premium quality.
